Now for those of you who don't know me ...I am very customer service oriented. Always have been. Never looked at it as being more like Jesus but as I grow in my faith I can see a few parallels. I do try to put others first most of the time....even to a fault. Well I guess that's what it's all about ... Putting yourself out there, sacrificing some part of you for the sake of someone else.
Yep so I made that comment on Facebook for all my friends to see and wouldn't you know it God steps in with his awesome sense of humor and I smash my finger in the car door.
Well my customer service finger is back in working order but its a throbbing bloody mess right now. We've got flood warnings all over the area with torrential downpours in the forecast and yep you guessed it I'm the facilities manager and the facility is flooding. Oh bother....I'm soaked to the bone after digging a makeshift french drain to move water away from the building.
That'll teach me to ignore my calling for even a minute.
